The footing for the shoreline retaining wall has been undermined by wave action over the years. If nothing is done to prevent more water damage, the entire seawall will eventually tip toward the lake.
Here you see the forms being positioned to reinforce the existing footings. This new concrete will extend into the lake bottom, be reinforced with re-bar, and extend over the old footings and up against the first row of block. This design should prevent wave action from getting under the wall and causing more damage.
